The Bicycle Coalition's Vision Zero-Mini Forum

  • 24 Mar 2016
  • 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Jefferson Center for Injury Research

The Bicycle Coalition has been at work for a Vision Zero Policy for Philadelphia for quite some time. Vision Zero—the a policy that seeks to reduce all traffic deaths in a given area to zero in a given amount of time, and we believe many citywide organizations—was an important ask for the Coalition during the 2015 campaign season, and we’re still pushing hard for a comprehensive policy.

That’s why we’re putting on our first Vision Zero Mini-Forum of 2016. Call it a follow-up to last December’s Vision Zero Philadelphia Conference, in which hundreds of Philadelphians came to Thomas Jefferson University to listen to a day of panels about how Philadelphia can bring its traffic deaths down to zero.

Panelists include Pennsylvania State Representative John Taylor; Jonathan Rogers, Project Manager for Vision Zero at the District Department of Transportation; and Captain Francis Healy of the Philadelphia Police Department and Wen Hu, Senior Transportation Research Engineer, Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Non-member attendees  automatically become Bicycle Coalition members, complete with all the benefits of being a card-carrying member. Perks like discounts at area bike shops, access to insider information, and free admission to our annual Explore the Circuit series. To purchase tickets, click here.
